Although the footbed was cushioned and comfortable, I didn’t feel well supported in this shoe. The velcro strap is loose and can not be pulled very tight for my narrow foot. The shoe also felt a little cheap in quality.

This is a Mary Jane style shoe with a velcro strap across the instep. This strap is overly long. I get that I bought these shoes in a wide width. My feet are not wide in this area. The strap practically touches the ground and only about a quarter of an inch of velcro is actually catching. I am debating whether or not to keep them.

I really like these! They fit true to size. I am an 8 1/2 and that’s what I got and they fit perfectly. I would definitely order these in another color.

Really cute and comfortable mary Jane sneaker. But as with most Vionics, it’s made for wide feet and even though the strap tightens and I was able to achieve a good fit that way… the velcro which closes the strap does not extend the length of the strap so it doesn’t close well enough for narrower feet. Had to return. So disappointing because all they had to do was run the velcro the length of the strap – and they’d meet the needs of narrower and wider feet. Foolish oversight.

This Uptown Mary Jane shoe fit well and I like the subtle lift that the sole provides. I also really wanted a Mary Jane style; however, the top strap on this shoe is really long and hangs well beyond where it is supposed to attach to the velcro. It just ruins the look of the shoe for me because I have so much strap sort of dangling off the side of the show. I tried to position the strap up higher but then in creates a gap across the top of my foot. So, nice idea but this didn’t work for me at all. It is also a slightly bit “orthopedic” looking—can’t get over that.

Navy blue suede in a Mary Jane style. Need I say more? This shoe is perfection: length, width, and a subtle lift from the low wedge. Excellent fit and arch support in my usual size for my beleaguered right foot (broken, ankle sprain, plantar fasciitis). Vionic is becoming the only shoe brand I can wear besides Birkenstock, but Vionic styles are a lot better. I would order this cute shoe in every color if I could afford it. My long search for a cute navy blue shoe is over!

I take a 8 Regular in Vionic sandals, but I ordered a 9 wide in these. These are a bit narrower than the sandals and also a bit shorter. I could have taken a 8.5 wide but the toe box is narrow (tapered) and I wanted more room in the toes. The extra length isn’t much and it give my toes more room. I don’t like maryjanes at my age, so I ordered the black in the sparkly version and also ordered the beige sparkly (gold). I’m happy with both.

I like them very much and can wear them all day, though at the end of the day, the heel rest starts to feel a little too firm.

I have no problem with Uptown Mary Jane shoe as I already own and wear two of them. I just did not really need or like the silver color, especially with the white bottom. It doesn’t fit in with what I wear so I am returning it. However, this style is super. I have the black leather and the navy suede (has a darker bottom) so I can tell you that it’s a great fit and very comfortable. The strap helps it stay on my narrow foot. Nice shoe.

For me, the shoe was too wide and stood out around my foot. As others have stated, the strap is too long – touching the ground when fastened.

A nice enough shoe, but three issues for me: 1. the leather was too sparkly. 2. the arch support, although present, hit my arch in an uncomfortable way. 3. the appearance of the shoe on my foot looked like a pancake on my foot if that makes sense.

This show was not very comfortable at all, so disappointed! There feels like there is nothing between the front part of your foot and the ground… zero support / cushioning. Had to return.

Fit was true to size and width. Vionic shoes are the best fit for my arthritic knees, very comfortable with good support. Color is nice deep grey which will go with any color outfit.

Very cute and comfortable. I have the silver suede and find they go with just about everything. I agree that the straps were a bit long, but I was able to cut and sew them on my sewing machine. Now they fit perfectly. Getting lots of compliments too!
