I love Vionic flip-flops, and thought I’d give these a try. First off, they are listed as waterproof, but they are NOT. Large printed words inside the boot say “water resistant.” I need a wide toebox, and these are narrower and pointier than I’d like. And while I think 8.5 was the right size, my heel slipped a bit while walking so I was concerned about blisters.

Unlike the other reviews, I found the fit on these to be perfect for me. HOWEVER, I have a ‘full’ foot with a high instep and thick ankles, but not wide at my toes- I could see them being too narrow in the tow box for someone whose foot widens at the toe. Other Chelsea boots I own are too narrow through the ankle and top opening, but these are not, so I appreciate the wider than average circumference of the opening/heal. My typical size is 8.5 or 9 wide, and I did need to size up to a 9.5 with these to get the right length. I was looking for stylish water resistant boots with a walking sole for a winter trip to Europe, and could not be more pleased with this find.

I can’t even give a review of these because when they came in they were so visibly damaged I put them straight back in the box to return. For a $167 pair of boots, you’d think the quality would be higher. It’s disappointing.

Color Taupe Nubuck Size 11 Width M: Nice nu-buck leather with comfortable toe space and no binding around the ankle. I ordered a size larger to wear thick wool socks. These boots with their nice arch support are great for walking in cool weather. The taupe color is a classic neutral leather color. Very natural looking. They look great with blue jeans, but with a lot of other colors too! I put in a whole day of city walking and castle stair climbing in these and was comfortable and completely forgot about my feet!

This particular style is much more narrow then others I’ve had in the past of that same size. I believe they will break in a stretch a bit, hopefully enough to make them comfortable. The arch support is better then nothing, but i have had better in other vionics.
The look is very sleek and they seem durable besides the fit.

This was the second pair of ankle boots that I bought for this winter. They are wonderful. They are super stylish and go with any thing. Skirts, pants, etc. etc. the comfort level, of course, is exceptional. I can wear these all day and my feet are just fine. My goal is to transition all of my old shoes to Vionics. I can honestly say, that at this point in my life, I do not know what I would do if I had not discovered these Vionic shoes. There is nothing worse than walking around in pain all day.

After trying on so many boots of a similar style, I finally found “the one.” It’s comfortable with no break in period required, flexible, not too heavy or chunky, and the shaft height is not too high, so it doesn’t cut into the front of my leg when walking. I hope Vionic continues to make this style.

Bought my regular size and fits perfectly. I don’t have wide or narrow feet. Bionic shoes always fits me in my regular size. Cute style, easy on and off…. Great shoe for those wet days without having to wear heavy rain boots.

I usually wear a size 9 in Born shoes and ordered a 9. they fit fine. I returned them only because i wanted a darker grey color.

These boots are so cute, I wish they came in a wide width. They are just too narrow for me.

Fit is good, plenty of room in the toes and not too tight across the bunion area. The boot is supportive while being flexible. For fit, I would prefer a snugger ankle area, but could manage with these and didn’t walk out of them. They are fairly lightweight, good for travel. I found they were surprisingly waterproof (though carefully billed by Vionic as only water resistant). My socks did tend to crawl down, but I think that may be an inherent problem with chelsea style boots, unless perhaps you happen to have a thicker ankle so there is closer fit at the top and through the ankle. The chocolate brown is a nice dark color.
I put in my own OTC orthotic in, but the included insoles are pretty supportive too.
