I do love these shoes. They are so easy to put on and I love the stretchy laces. I returned the tie up lace beach shoes because these are just so easy to wear! However with that said… They are a bit thin soled. You can feel everything you step on and have very little cushion. Also, the bottom, as another reviewer mentioned, peels away. It’s as if there is some kind of fabric over the bottom of the shoe and it is wearing off with one day of walking. I am opting to keep them because they are just that nice to wear. They fill a need for me as closed toed shoes but summery enough to wear without socks.

I NEED a shoe with good arch support. But I HATE a clunky orthopedic shoe. As a result, I’ve been known to sacrifice comfort for fashion and ended up in pain because of it. These are the perfect, lightweight casual sneaker WITH the arch support I so desperately need. Please, never stop making the Pismo!

The actual color of the shoe is nothing like the photo which list it as “yellow” in person it is orange.

Cute shoe with fairly good arch support; however, I have a wide foot and a high arch. This shoe did not work for me. Love Vionic shoes, just not this style.

These are super cute and comfortable! Remind me of Sanuk shoe/sandal, but with much better support. I’ve purchased several pairs of Vionic. I’m generally a size 10 in most shoes, size 11 in running sneakers. Any Vionics that are worn without socks I get a 9.5.
Gretchen –
They fit wonderfully. I was looking for a shoe to put on and wear all day, inside and out. I like the arch support these have (I have plantar fascitis.)

These are so cute, but I’m returning them because there just isn’t enough support in the footbed, under the ball of the feet. I just turned 50, and I need more support and cushioning in my shoes. If you have bunions, these might bother you. They really do feel like you’re barefoot, and the arch support is nominal. I have a pair of Vionic flip flops which are soooooo much more supportive.

Very soft! Unlike other shoes this doesn’t rub behind my ankle because it’s not stiff. The length is perfect, but it’s very tight across my instep (across the top of my foot where the laces are). I’m wearing them around the house to see if they loosen up or if I’ll have to return them. I hope I can keep them, they are super cute, and otherwise comfy!
Lisa –
Love these. Thought they wouldn’t be cushioned enough but after a few hours my feet felt fine. Wear a 9 and ordered a 9

The material is so soft but unlike other Vionic shoes I’ve worn for years these didn’t hit me in the right spots on my foot.
Not sure if I got a defective pair but they seemed worn and frayed in a couple of spots and they had a strange lump on the side.

Comfortable casual shoe. Fits the bill for what I was looking for. True to size. I like the color. Not a trail shoe. The sole is a little thin and you’d feel every pebble, but great for around town.

Shoe is nice. Fit was great. BUT within a few wears the entire bottom of the shoe was coming apart!! Have to return. They are really cute. Too bad about the sole.

Longtime Vionic/Orthaheel customer. Love their sandals. Their closed shoes and sneakers rarely seem to work for me. I wear a 10 in sandals but need a 10.5 in closed shoes sometimes. These didn’t come in 10.5 so I ordered a 10 and also an 11. Neither fit. The length of the 11 would have been okay, but the forefoot was too wide. I also had another really weird problem with these: The height of the shoe, between the insole and the top fabric of the shoe was not tall enough. The seam that goes around the top of toe box rubbed on the top of my toes. I couldn’t get these shoes off my feet fast enough! I tried them on with socks, and they were painfully irritating. If I had kept them I would have wanted to wear them sockless, but there was no way I could do that.
#1 – I wish Vionic made size 10.5 in all their shoes.
#2 – They really need a new shoe model. I don’t know who designs their close-toed shoes, but considering that I have dozens of pairs of their sandals but their closed shoes and sneakers are always an epic fail for me, I don’t know what they’re thinking!

Pleasantly surprised. I usually take a wide in Vionic. Took a gamble and ordered these in Regular width because that is all they offered. They were FABULOUS. I also tried them sockless and WOW. So soft and supportive. Cannot wait till the weather warms up so I can wear them out of the house.

This is a very light weight cute shoe. Fit was true to size and it does have arch support, however has a thin sole.
There is not much cushioning so expect that the ball of the foot will get sore fairly quickly.
I am keeping the shoe but will try to add a thin insert for additional cushion.

Now that I am no longer a “spring chicken” I have been having foot issues/pain and have been resistant to “old lady orthopedic shoes”. I walk and exercise A LOT and my foot pain got to the point that I could no longer ignore it. I started to try everything, finally coming to the realization that I was going to have to do something about my shoes. During my research to try to help my plantar fasciitis I kept seeing the “Vionic” brand pop up and I was pleased to see they had a variety of shoes that were fashionable, decently priced, and most importantly… foot health minded! To start I was looking for something I could easily wear around the house (I have strictly INDOOR and strictly OUTDOOR shoes) instead of my UGGs or walking around in socks and got these Vionic Beach Pismo sneakers in rose. Right out of the box they were comfy and had a great fit. The arch support is fantastic and my foot pain was improving as I wore them around the house. I am so impressed that I will definitely be ordering more shoes from Vionic! The Pros/Cons so far with the Vionic Beach Pismo shoe itself:
PROS: Stylish, cute, comfy, lightweight, great arch support, flexible, affordable, no break-in period/comfortable right out of the box, I have small feet (4.5-5) and the size 5 was a perfect fit, easy on/easy off
CONS: Not high quality materials/not likely to be long lived, I loved the rose but a lot of the other colors were a little garish (would prefer more neutral color options), these are great for around the house/errands/at the beach but not cushioned enough for a lot of walking, I would like to see more eco-conscious options, I’m still on the fence about the rose-gold lace holes
Lisa –
I like being able to have a casual gym shoe. The arch support is better than Chucks (zero) but not a traditional Vionic. Now that it’s warm here I just started wearing them and the sole is going. Very disappointing. Was tempted to buy more colors despite not being able to wear them all day like my other Vionics, but not now.
Sheryl –
I love these shoes. They fit perfectly. No need to tie laces, but still plenty of support on the top of the foot. Great arch support. Well made. The inside is lined with a soft fabric that makes them comfortable to wear without socks. Just as comfortable as slippers.

I am returning these shoes, which I love, because the stitching on the top front of the right shoe is not done correctly and a thread is coming loose, as well. I wore these one time. I noticed the stitching was not done correctly when I got home. The arch support is not typical for a Vionic shoe because these are made for casual wear and more of an indoor shoe.

Sadly, within a few weeks the souls of the shoes started to tear. They are currently in little ribbons. Very disappointed.

The perfect casual sneaker!
You will not be disappointed with the fit and style of these cute, lightweight shoes.
Fit comfortably right out of the box and onto a full day at Disneyland.
(I already purchased additional colors)

Most comfy sneaks ever!

Love these shoes (look and feel) but they are already falling apart and I haven’t even owned them 3 weeks.

As some of the other reviews mention, these don’t have the support for all day walking that I usually associate with Vionic, but they are super cute and comfortable for going out to dinner or other activities where you aren’t on your feet for hours at a time.
Susan –
These sneakers are awesome! They have excellent arch cushioning and are super comfortable to wear and walk in all day.
